How to Get Used to Eating Raw Vegetables

Recent studies have shown that consuming raw vegetables is healthier than taking them cooked or processed. This is because the nutrients and vitamins in produced are sensitive to heat and processing and are degraded.

The benefit of raw vegetables in reducing or preventing stroke was especially established by one study. Given that, we should all learn to eat our veggies and fruits raw. Eating raw fruits is not problematic, but the same cannot be said of veggies. A lot of people are averse to raw veggies, except perhaps, for hose that go well in salads. But those with slightly bitter or tart tastes are another story.

It will take time to get used to raw veggies, but it doesn’t mean you have to shun them. There are ways to ease the transition. A good way is to juice them in combination with fruits in a Ninja 1100 food processor. Start with a higher fruit ratio, then, slowly increase the quantity of vegetables. Experiment with different combinations. In time, taking raw vegetables will be a breeze.
