Tuesday, January 24th, 2012I got a spinal epidural injection because my back was hurting a lot. It all started when I entered college. My friend influenced me to join a fraternity. I really was not into those things but he kept asking and asking me. So I finally agreed to it. For every fraternity, there is what they call initiation rites. This was done to test whether you can be in their so called brotherhood or not. We were made to do things that challenges us mentally and for me that was alright. What I wasn’t aware of was that they were going to test us physically as well. We were to run as fast as we could while circling the campus but I slipped through the stairs, I was brought to the hospital immediately. I was experiencing severe back pains at that time and that was when they gave me spinal epidural analgesia to take the pain away. I did not finish my initiation rites so I didn’t get into the fraternity as well. I decided that I was better off not entering their brotherhood or any other brotherhood for that matter. I am now concentrating in my studies so that I can be a better person in the future.

A trigger finger happens when a nodule develops in the tendons. This kind of condition calls for finger splints to be put on the finger.
